Baked Chicken Yummyness.

Tonight we came home from work and I wanted to cook something for dinner that was warm and filling.

I decided I wanted to do something with chicken, but something new.  I hopped on the internet and searched for baked chicken recipes.  I found a yummy one on cooks.com for One-Dish Chicken and Broccoli Bake.  I modified it a little to use the things we had.  It turned out wonderfully.  It's a mix of chicken, soup, veggies and rice.  It's not really a bake, since you don't put it in the oven.  It's more of a stove-top casserole.

I'm proud of myself for pulling things together and finding a yummy new dish for us.

WTF?  Honoring the President?

So, tonight I am sad and pissed at the Ogden City School District.

If it hadn't been for the arts programs I was involved in, I wouldn't be who I am today.  They gave me a reason to go to school.  I hated school otherwise.

My children now attend school in Ogden.  For their sake, I will do everything I can to get them out.

Good evening.  This is my attempt at a blog, so bear with me as I get things going.  I know I have a lot to share.  I just haven't had the oomph to do it.  Perhaps it will end up being like other projects and die along with them, but hopefully not.

Now that I can log into Google to check my email and blog, I'm hoping it will happen more often.

I don't know if it will be entertaining, but I would like to share a bit about myself with the outside world. Perhaps old friends will learn about the new me, and current friends will be closer.  I'll share things like things I'm doing, how work is going, plans I'm making, important people in my life, rants and raves, hot guys, etc.

Hope you enjoy.  If you don't, who gives a damn?
